Where’s Wally Knitting Pattern

While searching around for my next knitting project, I came across this Where’s Wally knitting pattern. It took me back to a time when we used to be obsessed with searching for this elusive Wally character in books

What Knitting Skills are Needed?

To make this well-known character with his red and white striped shirt, pom pom beanie hat and glasses, you will need basic beginner knitting skills.

The soft toy is made up of mostly stocking stitch so as long as you know how to cast on and off, knit and purl, increase and decrease you can make this toy.

The designer, Rebecca Roberts has labelled the pattern at a beginner’s level. Wally is around 15cm tall.

After knitting up this endearing character you could use it in a hide-and-seek game for young children. It will make a lovely gift for a child too. It could also be used as a chocolate orange cover at Easter time as well.

I think the major benefit of this knitting pattern is that it can be used in so many different ways for the joy and delight of children.
